We are looking for a dynamic Product Marketing Specialist to join our team and make a significant contribution to our success and growth in the European and American markets.

Role

As a Product Marketing Specialist at Rippletide, you will join a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, working to solve hard problems. You are willing to help build out all aspects of the marketing function from messaging/positioning to marketing operations. You enjoy working intensely, and collaboratively. 

About You

The ideal Product Marketing Specialist candidate is early in their marketing career, but is ready to navigate and dig into all aspects of marketing. You bring an entrepreneurial mindset committed to learning quickly, and using data to make informed recommendations. Ideally, you have been exposed to several marketing functions (paid, digital, content, field, brand, PR, etc) with notable experience in product marketing. You want to influence the product and how we are positioned in the marketplace. 

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and customer interviews to understand our customers and prospects.
• Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing and growth campaigns.
• Assist in outbound and inbound marketing activities, including content development, optimization, and budget management.
• Liaise with external vendors as needed. 
• Collaborate with the product team to share learnings and insights.
• Plan and execute initiatives through appropriate channels.
• Analyze marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.

The ideal Product Marketing Specialist candidate will have:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, proficiency in French is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, and attention to detail for precise analysis of data
• Problem solving and creative thinking skills
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment
• Brings an entrepreneurial mindset, and understands the ability to be agile and iterative
• A strong sense of ownership
• Self-starter, driven, motivated
• Someone who is willing to build from the ground up and have impact

• 30 minute phone screen with hiring manager
• 60 minute meeting with Executive Team members (max 2 people)
• Homework assignment
